Soaps are made with saponified oils such as olive oil, rice bran oil, sunflower oil, coconut oil. Some oils have been infused with carrot, helichrysum flowers, dried citrus, lemon verbena or lavender. Additions to soaps include shea butter, organic oats, dried citrus peel, coffee grounds, organic cinnamon, red/pink clay and activated charcoal. Soaps are left to cure for at least 6 weeks so they may not retain smells.

Why purchase NOURISH hand crafted soap

1. Glycerine

Glycerine is a natural skin softener that attracts water from the air. Glycerine is highly valuable in soaps and lotions for maintaining moisture in the skin throughout the day. Oils contain glycerine as a part of their natural chemical makeup.

Store bought soap often has the glycerine removed and put into lotions and creams as a cost effective measure. Nourish Soaps are 100% natural after the saponification process and will have between 7% - 13% glycerine.

2. Chemical Free

100% natural, plant based essential oils are used in Nourish Soap, however after curing for six weeks to make a long lasting bar, the smell may be lost. Nourish Soap smells like soap. Scented soaps could contain hundreds of harmful chemicals without your knowledge that are harmful to your body.

It saves the environment also. There are less chemicals going down your drain.

You know (and can pronounce) the ingredients of hand crafted soap.

3. Less waste

No packaging, less plastic, better for the environment. Take it one step further and use the same bar for hair, face and body.
